超刀法
Te « Vouge - Siêu-Đao » wielding comprises several Codified Sequences teaching the method for using the Vouge Siêu-Đao and the Vouge Long-Đao.
In the School System of celebrious Grand-Master Trương-Trạch from Prefecture of Phù-Mỹ, there were already :
- Two Codified Sequences of Vouge Siêu-Đao ;
- Two Codified Sequences of Vouge Long-Đao.
In nowadays, it exists at present two Codified Sequences which are divulged to multitude : the one teaching the wielding of « Vouge Siêu-Đao » with as name « Siêu Xung-Thiên » codified by a Coded Poem crammed with spelling faults and the one teaching the wielding of « Vouge Long-Đao » with as name « Lôi Long-Đao » codified by a Coded Poem with obscure sense.
The Codified Sequence of the Vouge Siêu-Đao
« Siêu Ông »

The foundamental Codified Sequence of the «Vouge - Siêu-Đao» from Sa-Long-Cương School System is the Codified Sequence of « Siêu Ông » ie. « Siêu Xung-Thiên ».
With the time, the name of this Codified Sequence has been forgotten. In nowadays, it's provisionally called « Siêu Xung-Thiên » by taking the two first words « Xung Thiên » from the first line of verse (« Xung Thiên Ðề Ðao Phản Trảm Nghinh ») from Coded Poem of this Codified Sequence. According to the allegations of Martial Master TRẦN-Đẫu (war name LÊ-Đẫu) from Bích-Quang Martial School, the origin name of this Codified Sequence of Pole-Arm « Vouge - Siêu-Đao » is « Siêu Tứ-Môn - The Vouge of Four Porticos ».
Actually, it exists a certain number of persons who make the confusion between this Codified Sequence of «Siêu Xung-Thiên» with the one of «Siêu Bát-Quái» and the one of «Thanh-Long Đao» (still called «Thanh-Long Yển-Nguyệt-Đao - Sabre with Blue-Green Dragon Biting the Crescent-Moon Blade - 青 龍 偃 月 刀»).
These Three Codified Sequences mentioned previously have all their own Coded Poem well distinct. The Codified Sequence of «Siêu Xung Thiên» and the one of «Siêu Bát-Quái» belong to Đại-Việt ; the Codified Sequence of «Thanh-Long Yển-Nguyệt-Đao» belongs to China.
The Coded Poem of «Siêu Xung-Thiên» Codified Sequence includes 8 heptametrical lines of verse written in Hán-Nôm Characters.

That is a Codified Sequence of the Vouge Siêu-Đao belonging to Martial Lineage of Origine purely vietnamese, and meriting the rename of « the Vouge Siêu-Đao Wielding Art from Generalissimo Lý Thường-Kiệt from LÝ Dynasty (1010-1225) », handed down to posterity by our Grand-Master BA Phong, descendant of Commander PHẠN & Commander THI.

« The Vouge Long-Đao Codified Sequence »
« Long Đao Thảo »
龍刀草
The rare and precious Codified Sequence from « The Vouge Long-Đao » from Celebrious Grand-Master TRƯƠNG-Trạch in the Prefecture of Phù-Mỹ, still passed down in nowadays to the posterity is the one of « Long-Đao Wieding », that our School-System BÌNH-ĐỊNH SA-LONG-CƯƠNG calls « Việt-Long-Đao » uder the form of praise.
This « Codified Sequence of Vouge Long-Đao » is coded by 11 Vers (77 words) including 46 Bottes of Đại-Việt Cavalry Vouge wielding with marvellous divinely transformations.
The Martial Student will need to know well in advance the « Codified Sequence of the Vouge Bát-Quái - Vouge of Eight Trigrams » (Do'nt make the confusion with the « Codified Sequence of Great-Saber Ba-Gua » from China Wu Tang's School) and the « Codified Sequence of Vouge Xung-Thiên - Vouge Soaring Up Towards the Sky » in order to own a level requis to be able to learn this « Codified Sequence of Vouge Long-Đao ».
The reason is that the « Vouge Siêu-Đao » wielding demands a perfect knweledge of Postures techniques as these of Moves and demands a solid mastering of Six Bottes «Triển», «Mạt», «Câu», «Đóa», «Khảm», «Phách» in the wielding of the Sabre and the Scimitar.
We don't still say about the manner of twirling the « Cavalry Vouge » ! Nowadays, it exists many persons who spin the Vouge as it's a Battle Staft. They think that to spin so the trajectories traced by this Vouge don't "bail out the water" is enough very just, but they don't know how wielding to don't nick the Vouge edge during the clashes with the steel weapon from the opponent.
And when these persons execute a Codified Sequence of Cavalry Vouge, as they are too hasty by wanting to fidget the most quickly possible, their postures are unfinished, their movements uncoordinated and the body attitudes are contorted, that makes damaging the Techniques of this Cavalry Vouge wielding.
In addition, the Martial Student will not have to use the Vouge Siêu-Đao in the training for Vouge Long-Đao wielding, because the structure of these two kinds of medieval weapons is different, so methods of their wielding are different. The wielding of Vouge SIêu-Đao et Vouge Long-Đao on horseback underlines still more the dissimilar features of these two medieval weapons. Since the Vouge Siêu-Đao owns a Guard, so it has in part a greater security, but on the other hand it's because of this very Guard which provokes a resistance of the air during the twirling, that which makes it less agile than the Vouge Long-Đao in various chain and transformation techniques.
